Did you ever ask yourself whether your posture might be contributing to your carpal tunnel syndrome? Hmmmm?
If you did, it probably does.
It’s very easy to get poor posture. Soooo easy.
If your back muscles are weak, they let your back become rounded. If your back becomes rounded, that allows your head to move forward. When your heavy head is in front of your body, gravity pulls on it.
Gravity will cause your posture to become even worse.
When your posture is collapsing forward, it causes compression (pressure) on the nerves, muscles and blood vessels that serve your carpal tunnel area (and other areas, too).
But, when your posture is straight and your head is held up over your body so gravity can’t grab it, then there is less compression on your nerves, muscles and blood vessels to your arm, wrist and hand.
That means the symptoms (pain, numbness, tingling) of your carpal tunnel syndrome will be able to go away.
