Carpal Tunnel Syndrome can be caused by the muscles in your neck. “Something” is causing your symptoms and if they aren’t responding to conventional therapies, these muscles may be the culprit.
If you’ve tried “everything” to get rid of your carpal tunnel symptoms but “nothing” has helped–it just may be the muscles in your neck. They’re called the scalene muscles.
Bodies are very logical and we get pain for reasons. We just have to figure out what the reason or cause is and get rid of it. Then your symptoms will go away.
By the way, if you’re also having muscle knots in your upper back, it’s almost definitely these neck muscles. The Scalene Report is included in the Knots In Your Back Gone! program.
Here is the test to determine whether your scalene muscles are causing your carpal tunnel symptoms:
On your affected side,
lift your arm so the back side of your lower arm is against your forehead. Does that relieve your numbness or symptoms? If not, keep your forearm against your forehead and lift your shoulder slightly while you move it forward. Does that relieve your symptoms? If so, that is a positive test that the scalene muscles in your neck are involved.
What’s the next step?
1. Either go to a neuromuscular or other massage therapist who can release your scalene muscles which takes some skill and experience.
2. Buy or borrow a copy of the self-help trigger point book by Claire Davies. Not only will you learn how to release your own scalene muscles, you will learn so much about trigger points and how to get rid of them for pain relief all over your body. It’s worth its weight in gold.
If your carpal tunnel symptoms are being caused by the muscles in your neck, which of these steps will you take today to get carpal tunnel pain relief?
