5 Tips to Get Rid of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Without Surgery

Do you think it’s possible to get rid of carpal tunnel syndrome once you have it?  Without surgery?

In most cases, I’m betting the answer is yes.  Just like every other thing that can “go wrong” in your body, and can heal, so can carpal tunnel problems.

Your body wants to heal; it wants to be well.  Your wrist is part of your body.  If you can correct the causes of your carpal tunnel discomfort, you can get rid of your pain.

Do you think I make it sound ‘too simple?’

Well, okay.  I do.  But there are steps you can take and the steps are each simple.

1.  Educate yourself.  Learn as much as you can about the true causes and natural cures for carpal tunnel syndrome.  An educated patient is one who will get well.  Typical causes for pain in the carpal tunnel area include trigger points (crabby areas of muscle which ‘fire’ into other areas and cause pain,) poor posture which strains muscles, a weak back and vitamin B deficiency.  These are all things that can be corrected.

2.  Feed yourself.  A body that is getting good nutrition and sufficient water can heal sooner than one that isn’t.  Which do you suppose would heal faster?  A body that eats goodies and sweets on a regular basis, or one that eats lots of veggies and fruits?  If you ‘eat for color’ (red, yellow, green, etc.,– natural colors–not food coloring) you will get more of the nutrients you need to heal.

3.  Strengthen your back.  This is really, really important.  Lots of carpal tunnel symptoms are caused by weak back muscles.  A weak back causes poor posture and ‘forward head.’  A strong back corrects those causes of carpal tunnel pain.

4.  Reawaken all the muscles you haven’t used in years.  All the parts used to work properly when you were a child, and most of them can again 🙂  Roll your shoulders up and back.  Stretch your chest muscles.  You don’t want to lose it, do you?  Then you must move it.  Important:  Stretch in the opposite directions of your usual postures.

5.  Get a strong back.  I know I said this in #3, but it’s really, really important!  Not only will it help you get rid of carpal tunnel symptoms, it will also help you feel better in many other ways, too.  Every part of your body will function better.
