Instant Cure For Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Wouldn’t you like an instant cure for your carpal tunnel symptoms?

Me, too!  The only problem is that there isn’t such a thing.  🙁

That’s because the pain in your hand is rarely caused by your wrist.  But that’s the area that “instant cures” usually target–your wrist.

First you have to figure out the cause of your symptoms.  Symptoms are things like numbness, pain or tingling.  Symptoms have a cause.

Sometimes the uncomfortable symptoms in your hand are caused by pressure on a nerve.  Most often the

thing causing pressure on a nerve is a tight muscle. The tight muscle can be in your chest, your neck or anywhere near the nerve as it travels from your neck to your hand.

That’s good news because it’s relatively simple to get rid of the tight muscles that are causing you grief.

Sometimes muscles get trigger points.  Trigger points are very irritable places in muscles that “fire” or cause pain somewhere else.  There are muscles in your neck, hand and back that can have trigger points that cause the discomfort in your hand.

Once more, the good news is that muscles can be treated. Trigger points can go away.

You can learn to do-it-yourself or you can go to a skilled massage therapist who understands how to release your scalene muscles.  (Not all massage therapists know how to do this–check the Massage Category here.)

So even though you cannot get an “instant cure” for your carpal tunnel symptoms, or the pain in your hand, you can still get natural relief.  Sometimes the relief will be pretty quick when you press on just-the-right place.

Sometimes you will have to try several areas to find what’s causing your symptoms but don’t give up. And please don’t think of surgery right away.  Educate yourself first.  Check out the Category for Surgery here.

Bodies want to be well.  Sometimes you just need a little more information or a little more help to get rid of your carpal tunnel symptoms.  Maybe not instantly but naturally.
