Meditation For Carpal Tunnel Pain Relief

Can you get rid of the pain in your hands by meditating?  I’m thinking probably not.  Unless

There is a form of meditation that involves breathing.  When you inhale and exhale, your ribs move.  There are muscles between and around your ribs.

Most hand, wrist and arm pain is caused by muscles.  Those muscles can be in your arms, chest, back and neck.  And guess what?  They are all attached to your ribs!

Actually, all of the muscles in your whole body are attached to each other either directly or indirectly.  You aren’t just a “part here” and a “part there”–you are all one unit.  That’s why treating the whole body works better than just “fixing” or “cutting” the wrist.

When you lay down and pay attention to your deep breaths as they move in and out of your lungs, you are meditating.  When you do this laying down, you do not have to support your body weight and this helps your muscles to relax.

Meditating can be as simple as just paying attention to your breath.

Try it.  I think you’ll like it. 🙂

So, when you meditate with your breath, and move the muscles around your ribs, you are also benefiting and relaxing the muscles that can cause carpal tunnel symptoms.
